The Quiberon Peninsula extends over 14 km (9 miles) into the sea, surrounded by the foaming breakers of the “Wild Coast”, the flower-covered heathlands and countless secluded sandy creeks and coves. For those who love sunbathing on golden sands, it is the perfect place to idle away sunny days. There are no fewer than 19 beaches on the peninsula. For outdoors enthusiasts, a walk or cycle ride along the rugged coastline will give you a big breath of fresh air and the opportunity to witness a beautiful sunset over the sea.

Quiberon is lively from January to December, with a wide variety of events held throughout the different seasons. In the summer, as many as 30 free outdoor performances and events are organised: concerts, “fest-noz” (Breton dancing), street performances, fireworks… In September, sports enthusiasts head for the triathlon and the Solex Rally. At Easter, the holidays feature the “Quiberon en fête” festival. In December, it’s time for the “Quiberon fête Noël” festival and the “Grains de fables” festival livens the town up in February.
