A new secure, solar-powered bike shelter in the P3 parking

Since June 25, 2025, cyclists have been able to use a recycled shipping container that has been converted into an innovative, secure bike station, located near and accessible through the pedestrian gate of the P3 parking lot. This new facility, designed to promote sustainable transportation, combines security, convenience, and renewable energy.

A solar charging station for electric bikes

The bike shelter is equipped with solar panels on the roof that can power up to 20 bicycles. This project embodies Rennes Bretagne Airport’s commitment to promoting sustainable transportation and adopting a sustainable approach.

Rechargeable battery compartments

The lockers will allow our employees, customers, and visitors who are fans of green mobility to securely store and charge their electric scooters or e-bike batteries. Each locker is equipped with a standard electrical outlet. Users will also be able to charge the batteries of many types of devices, such as phones, tablets, and laptops.
