Air Corsica

Air Corsica
Air Corsica is Corsica's main airline, created in 1989 by the Corsican Regional Authority to improve connections between the island and the mainland. It operates most of the scheduled flights between Corsica's four major airports (Ajaccio, Bastia, Calvi and Figari) and major cities such as Paris, Nice and Marseille, as well as certain European destinations. The fleet consists of seven ATR72-600s and six Airbus A320s (ceo and neo), enabling it to serve all segments, from short to medium-haul. It is now the leading Corsican airline and the third largest French airline in terms of passenger numbers, with a reputation for reliability and local roots.Baggage policy
Preparing to travel with Air Corsica requires a good understanding of baggage regulations. Different types of baggage, weight and size restrictions, as well as specific guidelines related to the nature of items or the age of passengers apply. The airline provides clear guidelines on what can be taken on board in the cabin or checked into the hold, while also specifying the measures to be taken if the authorised limits are exceeded. Special precautions must also be taken for sports equipment and children's personal belongings. In short, a comprehensive set of recommendations is available to ensure a smooth and surprise-free journey.Cabin baggage
Cabin baggage is an identified handbaggage item that you keep with you during the flight, as opposed to baggage that is checked into the hold.- Number and types of baggage: 1 piece of hand luggage allowed + one personal item (handbag, briefcase, camera, small computer, etc.) that can be stored under the seat in front of you.
