Bastia-Poretta Airport (BIA) is located approximately 20 km south of Bastia city centre (in the municipality of Borgo). There are several transport options for getting to Bastia easily:• Shuttle bus: A shuttle bus runs between the airport and Bastia city centre in around 30 minutes. Tickets cost around Navette bus : Un bus navette effectue la liaison entre l’aéroport et le centre de Bastia en ~30 minutes. Le ticket coûte autour de 10 € par personne et les départs sont généralement coordonnés avec les horaires des vols. C’est un moyen pratique et économique – l’arrêt final se fait près de la place Saint-Nicolas en ville.
• Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport (the journey to the city centre takes around 25–30 minutes and costs around €50 during the day). This is more expensive but comfortable, especially if you have a lot of luggage or arrive late.
